If you're joining us for TSW Chamonix, then you're in for a treat. This mountain town is not only a dream destination for skiers and snowboarders, but it's also packed with some amazing places to eat. Tasty & Hasty

Great place to meet and eat. Big portions; custom made hot-dogs, delicious fries and incredible veggie options. Cool vibe inside and out with fleece blankets and furs plus entertainment outside.

Many say here you’ll find the best craft beers in France! Buzzy, friendly restaurant with welcoming staff. Great U.S. style food with excellent options for vegetarians and gluten-free. Lively atmosphere (and great views of Mont Blanc)

Locals rate it the best Pizza and pasta restaurant in Cham. Authentically Italian with a nice ambience and reasonable prices. Can be difficult to get in as it’s quite small, so if full Pizza Paradiso in Chamoix Sud also do great pizzas; to eat in or takeaway. Phone ahead though – it gets very busy!


True French

Charming restaurant owned by the same family since 1946, serving traditional Savoyarde specialities, the show-stopper (and must try if cheese is your thing) being the Raclette, a huge demi-lune of cheese on a melting iron, with sides of potatoes and charcuterie. Great surroundings, local and quirky décor and fun for groups big and small.

Small restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. Delicious French food and a good wine list. Interesting set menus or order a la carte for local specialities. Friendly and helpful staff when choosing from the menus.

A relaxing, classic French restaurant serving homemade dishes such as steak et frites, onion soup, escargots, crème brulee. Good sized portions and excellent value for money. Nice sunset views from the terrace. Attentive and friendly staff.


Fusion Fix

Swedish elements infused into pan-Asian cuisine, serving delicious sharing dishes. The cuisine is innovative and interesting, every mouthful tasty and full of flavour. Hip and buzzy atmosphere, open kitchen to see the chefs at work. Delicious and imaginative cocktails and lovely staff team.

A combo of Asian, French and Scandinavian cuisines, creating great fusion tastes. Fun and lively atmosphere with a contemporary, understated look. Serving tapas – style dishes with great veggie food choices. Hospitable staff and good service. Very popular.

A quality mix of the Cape, Alpine and Japanese influence. Sushi and gyosa always popular. Lovely décor with maritime feel, and popular with large parties. Also cocktails, DJ and dance floor downstairs.

Two restaurants - Michelin starred, gastronomic restaurant as well as a more mountain styled one – La Maison Carrier, which has the feel of a beautiful old rustic farmhouse. Albert 1er offers excellent degustation menus with the option of wine pairings. Top quality dishes presented like works of art. Amazing cheese and dessert tray. Attentive, happy and friendly staff.

Fantastic French/Italian restaurant near the Aiguille du Midi lift. Relaxed atmosphere and modern interior. Chef Daniele Raimondi creates delicious healthy and natural dishes. The light and delicate cuisine is complemented by the warm and welcoming staff team who provide a superb service.

Tucked away off the main pedestrian street this elegant and relaxed restaurant serves classic local and seasonal dishes. It offers an amazing wine list. A warm welcome from the team who are helpful in choosing from the menus and recommending wine.


Slope Side eats

Above Brevent  this charming, traditional wooden chalet enjoys magnificent views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi. Delicious fresh, local and classic dishes as well as good vegan options. A great place for a relaxing stop after a good morning’s skiing.

Local dishes served on the slopes, a welcome and pretty place to stop if you don’t want to eat at the main Charamillon self-service restaurant at the top of the gondola. It’s a tiny, popular place so make a quick call in the morning to be sure of a table.

A lovely choice if skiing at Grands Montets and wanting a delicious lunch in a great atmosphere. Reached by skiing along a track through the woods; it can also be reached by walking up from the carpark. A real taste of Savoie cuisine with lots of cheese dishes featuring on the menu. Booking essential.

One of the top-rated restaurants in Chamonix, it is also one of the highest in Europe! If you are making this iconic trip to the summit but not skiing the Vallee Blanche down, this is a super place to have lunch, surrounded by phenomenal views of Mont Blanc and the Alps. Small menu, but changes weekly.

Slightly off the beaten track, but well worth finding for lovely soups, quiches, steaks and crumbles, homemade by Louise, the Argentinian owner and her team.  The charming chalet feels as though you have been invited in to their home, rather than a restaurant. Take a little track on the left part way down the Plancert run.
