Plan your trip
The Ski Week officially begins at 4pm on Saturday. Salzburg airport (SZG) is the closest to Obertauern, an approximate one hour drive away. The Ski Week has organized transfers SZG which will take you right to our apartments. Munich airport is also an option (2.5 hours away) but we do not organise transfers from here unfortunately.
The price is €40/person each way and you can book both arrival and return transfers on your TSW profile. To reserve your transfers, log on to your booking profile, scroll down to the bottom of the page, click 'Add Transfer' and select your arrival flight number and approximate departure time. Last day to book transfers is one week before the event starts.
The Ski Week Obertauern has 3 houses for the week, all right next door to one another:
Steinadler: Wiseneggstraße 2, 5562, Obertauern, Austria
Obertauern Alps: Wiseneggstraße 9, 5562 Obertauern, Austria
Freja: Wiseneggstraße 11, 5562 Obertauern, Austria
If you are arriving by car or an alternate transfer, please direct the driver to Steinadler which is where you should check in before heading to your house. If you are unsure which house you are in, please visit your booking profile under the 'Arrival info' tab.
To Do Before You Arrive
We want your holiday to get off to the perfect start, so please ensure your crew list is completed 4 weeks prior to arrival. Simply log-in to your booking and add your crew following the steps given. This is also the perfect place to provide us with your approx arrival time and any dietary restrictions.
It'll only take a minute or two and this is what you need to do if you want to get your wristband on arrival.
Once you have completed your crew list, you can save a lot of time on site if you all check-in online. Each member of the crew must do this before arrival so we know to staff up for peak times!
When you arrive
You will have access to your room from 4pm. If you arrive later than 10pm or are delayed for any reason, please send us an email or give us a call so we can plan accordingly.
Once you arrive, head to The Ski Week reception to collect your TSW wristband. You will then be able to check into your hotel room and get ready for the amazing week ahead. Remember to bring a credit card to put on file for the room damage deposit.
We recommend doing some grocery shopping before the festivities begin so you have snacks and meals on hand for any downtime. S’all about the snacks. Check the Day8 app, under the Map tab, for the closest grocery store.
If you rented gear we also recommend picking that up upon arrival at Intersport which is located directly across the street from Steinadler. To speed things up, reserve your gear in advance on your booking profile and pay at pick-up. Reserving beforehand will also give you access to TSW preferred rates. Please make sure you place your gear in the designated locker rooms in your house rather than your apartment to avoid any unnecessary damage.
