OBERTAUERN 2016: DAY 3

On the third day, we got to experience the magic of a torch lit night ski. The track was groomed and the bonfire was roaring as skiers and boarders of all abilities made their way down. It was a majestic sight as the entire slope began to glow in the dark. I could try to explain the beauty of the scene, but I think I’ll let the image do the talking.

The real joy here always comes from finding those epic individuals to share these amazing moments with. Whether it’s an old friend that’s been by your side for decades, a fellow yacht weeker, or someone you just met on the chairlift, it’s those people that you get to experience these times with that make The Ski Week so damn glorious.

And then came the apres…...oh, the apres. Good beer, good jaeger and the best tunes being spun by our resident DJs. Your idea of what constitutes a good party is about to be flipped (unless you've been on The Yacht Week -in which case, you know exactly what I'm talking about). Trust me, after a few hard days of skiing, there is no better cure to those sore muscles than dancing (and lots of it).
